Justin Hargett Commits to Auburn

Justin Hargett has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for Auburn University. The 6-0/165 lb. shortstop from Hartselle High school is considered one of the top middle infield prospects in the country and solidifies a another solid signing class for the Auburn Tigers.

Congratulations to Justin and his family on his signing.

 

Jeff Bolger Commits to Northwest Shoals

 

Jeff Bolger has signed to play college baseball at Northwest Shoals Community College. The salty middle infielder will join several former Bama Bomber already at NWSCC in the fall of 2007.

Trey Vice Commits to UAB

Trey Vice has recently committed to play baseball for the UAB Blazers. Trey is considered one of the top pitching prospects in the state and is a solid pickup for Coach Brian Shoop and his young, rebuilding Blazer program. After a solid summer the 6-3/220 lb. southpaw gained attention from many of the top programs throughout the southeast. With several offers in hand to choose from, he has chosen to become a Blazer.

Ryan Collins Commits to Mississippi State

   After a solid summer with the Bama Bombers Ryan Collins jumped in the recruiting charts of several schools in the nation. After carefully consideration and a few school visits RC has committed to play baseball for the legendary Ron Polk at Mississippi State University. The Rutherford High standout led the Senior Team in hitting this past summer while anchoring the outfield and spent a lot of on the mound, as well. MSU has signed Ryan as an outfielder, but he could find some time on the mound if needed.

Bama Bomber Junior's to Participate in the PlayStation All American Games

  Alabama will be represented this year in the inaugural PlayStation All American Games in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Many of the Bama Bomber Junior Team players will be attending. Top baseball players in the 2008 graduating class from all across the country will be participating in the elite tournament that will serve as a scouting source for the prestigious PlayStation All American Team. Coach Greg Legg and the legendary Chet Lemon have been asked to assist Sports Link, Inc. in the team and player selection for this event. The tournament will precede this year's All American Game  in late May.
